& CSU Scholarships
As part of Colorado State's Internationalization Plan, The Office of International Programs (OIP) has developed a scholarship program specifically to support undergraduate study abroad. Awards ranging from $250 for the summer, $500-$750 for a semester, and $750-$1,250 for an academic year are granted by the scholarship committee.
Deadlines:
- Spring Programs: October 15
- Summer Programs: March 1
- Fall/Academic Year: April 15
Office of International Programs Scholarships
OIP Need-Based Study Abroad Scholarships: Awards ranging from $250/summer, $500-$750/semester, and $750-$1,250/year for CSU students accepted to study abroad on an authorized study abroad program. Eligibility requirements: Undergraduate, 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA and demonstrated financial need.
OIP Merit-Based Study Abroad Scholarships: Awards of $250/summer and $500-$750/semester or $750-$1250/year for CSU students accepted to study abroad on an authorized study abroad program. Eligibility requirements: Undergraduate, 3.5 minimum GPA.
CSU Affiliate Scholarships: Awards granted by various CSU Affiliates specifically for CSU students enrolled in their programs. Application is made through the Office of International Programs, but awards are granted by individual Affiliates. Note: Affiliate scholarships may not be available every semeseter.
Denver Council on Foreign Relations (DCFR) Scholarship: One $1,000 award for an in-state student at CSU who graduated from a rural or outlying high school in Colorado. Application is made through the Office of International Programs, but awards are granted by the Denver Council on Foreign Relations.
CSU, College and Departmental Scholarships
CSU Scholarship Application (CSUSA) The CSUSA is available online on RAMweb on December 1. The deadline is March 1 at 11:00 p.m. (MDST). Log into RAMweb using your CSU eID and ePassword. Select the CSU Scholarship Application link.
Chris Collins Memorial Scholarship: This $1,000 award is given to a full-time junior or senior student in the College of Business with a 3.0 GPA or higher. The recipient must be enrolled or accepted into a CSU-approved Study Abroad program.
Foreign Languages and Literatures Study Abroad Scholarship Two $1,000 scholarships each year for students majoring in a foreign language.
Johannes and Seraina Gessler Scholarship for Study Abroad Engineering students only
Pearle E. Betts Study Abroad Scholarship One $500 award per year for a CSU undergraduate or graduate student majoring in any of the following departments/programs: Design and Merchandising; Food Science and Human Nutrition; Human Development and Family Studies; or Consumer and Family Studies. Application is made through the Office of International Programs, but awards are granted by the College of Applied Human Sciences. Eligibility requirements: demonstrated financial need.
Sophie Pearson Study Abroad Scholarship One $1000 award per year for a CSU Interior Design full time student. Application is made through the Office of International Programs, but awards are granted by the College of Applied Human Sciences.
University Honors Enrichment Program - Provide assistance with funding for enhanced educational opportunities for Honors students. Funds are available to support group and individual enrichment opportunities, including study abroad.
