Italy Visa & Travel Information
If you are a U.S. citizen studying at a college or university in Italy for more than 90 days, including independent travel within Europe, you must obtain a student visa prior to departing the United States. If you are not a U.S. citizen, obtain guidance from the Embassy of Italy in Washington, DC, or an Italian consulate regarding the immigration requirements for citizens of your country.
